Global Chaos Tarot Special!
Hello beloveds,
It’s spring and it’s beautiful and the world is all kinds of scary right now… am I right?! How are you tending to yourself and your people amidst all the chaos and cognitive dissonance?
This question is truly important, because tending to ourselves and our people is what we must do as Patriarchy inflicts its horrific death-bed rattles upon the world.
We must tend to ourselves and others—-not just because it’s the only way to stay sane during these times—-but because we need as much life force energy as we can muster to create something far more beautiful, unifying, and life-affirming than the structures currently being torn down by the madmen ever were.
I’m here to remind you that at the same time that so much is being destroyed, so many of us—-including YOU—-are already building a world out of our innate wholeness. It’s a world that sounds like singing in the streets and tastes like shared veggies from the community garden.
We’re learning nonviolent communication skills and healing our ancestral wounds so we can pass our heirlooms of wholeness on to our children and communities. We’re remembering what really matters. Connection. Healthy ecosystems. Time.
For my part (which rarely feels big enough until I remember that I am just one little being in an expansive collective of evolutionary humans), I have a couple offerings for you today.
The first is a Global Chaos Tarot Sale! I’ve created a special reading to help you access the soul medicine that you need right now, the unique-to-you gifts that your grounded presence offers the world, and simple actions you can take to share them.
The second offering comes from Pat Ogden, a somatic practitioner and founder of the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. It’s called the PEACE protocol and is a tool we can use any time and any place our nervous systems feel frazzled, starting now.
P is for Pause. Bring awareness to your state of discomfort
E is for Embodiment. Offer yourself a physical practice that feels supportive in this moment. You might try breathing with long exhales, humming, hugging yourself, stretching, or pressing your feet to the ground. Experiment until you find something that resonates.
A is for Acknowledge. Notice the supportive shifts that arise from your practice. These could be steady breathing, slowed heart rate, a sense of groundedness, or general ease.
C is for Concentrate. Bring your focused awareness to the positive shifts and marinate in the related sensations for at least 15 seconds.
E is for Engage. When you are ready, turn your attention back to the environment and take in the sights and sounds around you, feel the air on your skin, have a glass of water, and/or engage with a person or a pet.

Take sweet care, xo Bex
